Molykote® Z, Microsize Powders and Molykote ® D 3500 effectively lubricate metal surfaces of all kinds in many difficult and extreme environments and also in also in cold forging applications. e.g. metal/metal pairings at extreme loads and slow speeds or metal/plastic pairings at low loads and low to medium speeds.
Applications
- Coating of metallic friction contacts which cannot be sufficiently lubricated with oil or grease due to high loads, low speed or unfavorable environmental influences.
- For finely finished surfaces and highly alloyed steels with dense structure MOLYKOTE® Microsize Powders is the preferred product. Incorporation as a
friction reducing additive in plastic elastomers and sintered metals.
